This research project begins with a simultaneous historical analysis of the evolution of structural and façade systems to later continue to determine, through the analysis of three representative case studies, in steel, concrete, and structural wood, what degree of interdependence exists between the two disciplines and how façades adapt to the new diagrid structure systems.
