COMING JUNE 2026

CHICAGO, IL

Intermediate Designer

Starting June 1st, I will:

  • Contribute to the design development and documentation of complex architectural projects from concept through technical coordination.

  • Produce key design deliverables, including diagrams, 3D models, renderings, and drawing packages to communicate architectural intent.

  • Integrate building systems, materials, and code considerations to translate design concepts into buildable solutions.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine design strategies and meet project milestones.

MAY 2025 - AUGUST 2025 • 4 MOS

MADRID, SPAIN

BIM Architect | Project Coordination Lead

  • Led Revit-based BIM coordination for large-scale international projects, aligning architectural design with structural systems, MEP coordination, and jurisdictional code requirements (Spanish CTE, IBC/ICC, Dubai Municipality).

  • Developed and maintained BIM templates, libraries, and Execution Plans to support consistent documentation, coordination, and model performance across offices.

  • Directed interdisciplinary coordination and model QA/QC processes, identifying and resolving clashes early to support predictable documentation and construction timelines.

  • Managed cross-time-zone collaboration between Madrid, Dallas, and Dubai, streamlining design reviews, client coordination, and BIM 360 workflows.

MARCH 2024 - FEBRUARY 2025 • 1 YR

CHICAGO, IL

Architectural Designer

  • Supported schematic design and feasibility studies through concept development, 3D modeling, and visualization, evaluating massing, structural logic, and system integration early in the design process.

  • Produced and coordinated construction drawings, translating design intent into technically coordinated, code-compliant solutions aligned with U.S. building codes and project constraints.

  • Addressed constructability and sustainability challenges by researching materials, assemblies, and installation methods, informing design decisions during early phases.

  • Earned increased responsibility through direct collaboration with studio principals and by supporting intern coordination and onboarding within project teams.

JUNE - AUGUST 2022 • 3 MOS

CHICAGO, IL

Architectural Intern II

In addition to the responsibilities I handled last year, I:

  • Contributed to area counts, conducted material research, analyzed codes, and developed preliminary specifications.

  • Had the privilege of collaborating directly with studio principals due to my excellent performance.

  • Assisted in coordinating fellow interns and new hires in the teams I joined.

MAY - DECEMBER 2021 • 7 MOS

CHICAGO, IL

Architectural Intern I

  • Worked collaboratively on high-rise office, residential, and mixed-use developments in North America and China.

  • Concentrated mainly on early phases of projects, such as 3D modeling, concept design, rendering, and design development.

  • Supported building area calculations, material research, code analysis, and initial specifications.

  • Created and refined elevations from technical drawings to high-quality renderings.

  • Participated actively in project team meetings to address project-related issues.

JUNE - JULY 2020 • 2 MOS

MADRID, SPAIN

Architectural Intern

  • Collaborated with the design team and clients to meet overall project objectives.

  • Developed project design concepts for architectural building practice, including large-scale, commercial projects, apartment buildings, and mixed-use developments.

  • Produced graphic presentations using Adobe applications, 3D renderings using SketchUp and Revit, and scaled construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

JULY 2019 • 1 MO

MADRID, SPAIN

Architectural Intern

  • Identified distribution problems in the office.

  • Planned and executed office design proposals.

  • Created graphic presentations using Photoshop.
