In this project, two other classmates and I explored how to cover the interior patio of an old mall in Paris, France.

We decided on using a parabolic arch using steel profiles. A perforated panel cover rests on top of the arches and the joist, also steel frames.
 

For the slab, we rely on wooden joists sitting on top of steel perforated beams to save the 14-meter span between structural columns on each side of the patio.
