ARCHITECTURE AND WINE

FALL 2019

The exercises we proposed in this course started with understanding Architecture in the contexts of the masterpieces of architecture, the city, or the landscape. Projects were sought to be credible and necessary and thought from a radical and proactive contemporary perspective. All the exercises, each from its scale would have to relate to the territorial and landscape scale so that, from this teaching method, the projects established the necessary relationships with the distant and near contexts in which they were inserted, enhancing and emphasizing the essential spatial values.

01. A box for 6 bottles of Pancrudo wine. Specific dimensions and safety for transport.

02. A space for wine tasting integrated into centuries-old vineyards that represent a high landscape value.

03. A new winery for Gómez Cruzado in the Barrio de la Estación, Haro, establishing a direct relationship with his tradition and culture as one of the main winemakers, and a small Enotourism Hotel.
